Messaging & Safety

Direct messages, blocking and reporting, and how Share a Goal screens chats and DMs for severe abuse so harmful messages are blocked, not hidden.

Direct messages

You can message other members from their profile. Your conversations live under Community → Messages, in a master–detail view where the open conversation loads inline.

Blocking

You can block a member from your conversation with them. Once blocked, they can't message you and you won't see their messages — the block works in both directions.

Reporting

Every message has a report option. Reported messages go to our moderation team for review, and abusive members can face action.

Why a message can show "not delivered"

Chats and direct messages are screened for severe abuse such as harassment or threats. If a message breaks our safety rules it is blocked and shown to you as "not delivered" rather than silently disappearing — so you know it didn't go through.

Keep it respectful. Safety tools protect everyone, but reporting genuinely harmful content helps us act faster.
